Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung unveiled its wider-screen flagship model Smartphone Galaxy Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the successor to the company’s earlier version Galaxy Note 7. Galaxy Note 8 has a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution of (2960×1440) MP and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone has the dimension (162.50 x 74.80 x 8.60mm) and weighs 195 grams approximately. It packs a battery capacity of 3300 mAh. This Smartphone is water and dust-resistant.

The handset will be available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold color options. This model is a little heavier than S8+ but appears better built and more solid when you hold it. The most notable differentiating factor compared to the S series is the bigger screens and the S-Pen stylus.

Software

Galaxy Note 8 is powered by Samsung 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core (4×2.3GHz + 4×1.7GHz) processor wedded with 6GB RAM and three internal storage variants-64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. These three variants support microSD cards. The Smartphone runs on Google’s Android 7.1.1 Nougat with TouchWiz UX. This is one of the first devices to be updated with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has got dual-camera set-up with a 12-MP wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.7 and the other carries a 12-MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4.  The two cameras work simultaneously offering 2X optical and 10X digital zoom capabilities respectively. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera having an optical images.

Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has the connectivity features like wireless fast charging and NFC & MST for Samsung Pay. It also carries other features such as S-Pen, fingerprint & Iris scanner, and face recognition. The other features of Galaxy Note 8 are 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and LTE Cat.
